I need to rid my computer of spyware. There are a lot of aplications running under processess in windows task manager and I'm surei have spyware on my comp. Spybot S&D is not catching anything. What's the best one i can get?

I alraedy have ANtivir and comodo firewall. just looking for spyware/adware (and other unmentioned "wares") to have maximum protection.

I am geeting tons of popups and who knows what other crap slowing my computer down after I downloaded limewire> I uninstalled limewire, but the spyware not go away. Now I am trying to remove the spyware, and somebody said Spybot was a free spyware remover, but I downloaded spybot and it said I had to register and get a serial number, which required payment. I also tried Stopzilla, but I got the same thing–needed to register in order for it to remove my spyware. So does anyone know of any programs that will actually remove your spyware free of charge with no paid registration required? If so what is the name of the program, and/or can you give me a link to a page to download it?

I have some type of crappy spyware on my computer which claims to actually be a spyware detector and removal software and it tries to get from you. I can't seem to remove it from my computer. I need help.

It's what causes all the pop-ups you get when you get online; they're little programs that keep track of everything you do and everywhere you go online, then that information is used by compainies so they know what pop-up ad's to send you and can lead to getting more spyware and adware getting on your hard drive. They can also cause computer/internet crashes and slow your computer down drastically. Adware/Spyware should be considered the same thing as an invasion of privacy; that information is used against you so that companies know what pop-up advertisements to send you and will make your internet experience worse. So… who's with me?

If I get enough support behind this, I may give it a shot in court to make it illegal (at least in the United States) for companies to use pop-up's to advertise online.

I only found the ones that can only scan but you have to pay in order to have the spywares removed.

It's hardly hit by many viruses slowing down my laptop, i've tried to download free anti viruses and spyware, but at the end, the software can only let me know that my laptop has infected. When it comes to remove, they asked payment. Anyway, any free removal in the internet? Please help, thanks.
