I think my computer may have a virus and I don’t have the money to buy something. Is there such a freeware that actually works to get rid of viruses and such?

I’ve got both AVG and Comodo installed, but apparantly I shouldn’t have bpoth at once.
Comodo has a firewall, but lacks a spyware detector, while AVG has a spyware detector but no firewall.
Which one should I get rid of and which should I keep? Depending on which one I dispose of, which firewall/anti-spyware program should I get?

I need a good spyware program that doesn’t allow any backdoors. I have norton internet security but it obviously hasn’t blocked all of it cause I still get the same 2 pop ups all the time on different sites that take over my browser and shut down other screens when I exit them. I have windows xp, Norton internet security, and Norton Antivirus, both updated.

I’m pretty sure I have some spyware on my mac because I will randomly hear an advertisement when nothing is open. Is there any website where I can find free spyware removal for mac THAT IS LEGIT?
I’ve tried looking through other questions and I see that there are a lot of spammers posting links to "spyware removal" for PC even though the question is about a Mac.
Thank you.

Several trojan viruses have worked there way into my computers critical systems allowing them to open Internet Explorer windows whenever I access the internet. No antivirius programs have been able to clean or even quarantine it. I can’t delete the infected files without making the computer unusable. What should I do?

I have looked everywhere! Every one only does a free scan, but does not remove the spyware completely unless you register or pay for the full version! SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE THE ULTIMATE ANSWER…NOT JUST ONE THAT SCANS!

The desktop background is green including a black box with red bold letters saying "Your System Is Infected!" Below it says I have spyware that’s infecting it. I downloaded Spy Doctor and it found 7 threats with 49 infections (including trojans), but I couldn’t remove it because I’m not registered. I was going to reinstall my entire PC, but not sure if it’ll work. An expert on computers please assist me!! Thanks!!

I have a very controlling and distrustful husband who is very computer savy and I know nothing. Is it possible for him to spy on what I am doing on the internet if there is no spyware on my machine? I have spyware detector and my computer is password protected. What I mean is, since we’re both on the same wireless network, can he see what is on my computer screen when he’s here or record it some way when he’s not? It must be possible, otherwise why would people have firewalls? I’m not doing anything wrong, I just don’t like the fact that he does this to me. He also tapped our phones–no kidding–and recorded all my telephone conversations. Fortunately, I found that one by accident.
he had installed a key logger one time by getting my daughter’s password and getting onto my computer through her account. My spyware detector found it-that’s how I know he is trying to spy on what I’m doing on the computer. And I already filed for divorce once, but dropped it about a month ago–can’t afford to live on my own.
