I had this killer malware on my computer last night and I successfully got rid of it, but it loaded my computer with all this crap. One thing I haven’t been able to get rid of from it is this virus/spyware thing that happens whenever I search for something in Google. The results for any search will be normal but when I click on any of the links they all redirect to ad/spyware-loaded sites. I tried deleting my cookies and that worked…for a while, and now it’s back. I ran a bunch of Spyware blocking programs too and they didn’t catch it. Anyone know how to get rid of this??

What’s the best free spyware blocker? I have malewarebytes, but I’d also like a program that actively checks and blocks spyware specifically.
Thanks for the help guys, I wound up downloading Spywareblaster.

I use Mozilla Fire Fox and the free adware as my spyware detector.
Most times I’m redirected to google or stuff that has no relevance to my search.

My account for World of Warcraft has been hacked twice in the last two months.
I need a solution to this problem. I currently have the latest AVG, which recorded no keylogger/spyware, etc. I also have my Windows Firewall up, and a program called Popup Killer.
I need something that can find the keylogging software and destroy it =( otherwise im going to end up formatting all my hard drives + windows AGAIN.
Any suggestions on antivirus/spyware/ and most importantly, keylogging, software?
Please, I’m hoping for something free or affordable, not because I’m cheap, just because I don’t have the money to buy expensive programs
Thank you,

I am having a problem with my computer for the past three days or so…I am being told that I have a spyware threat on my computer and stuff…my background keeps changing it self to something that I can click on which I wont bc I am pretty sure that will just make it worse…it says …Warning:Spyware threat has been detected on your computer and I am getting all these bubble popups that are telling me I have spyware problems and such. Im assuming it is a program that installed itslef so I try to Ctrl alt delete for task manager but it tells me that was disabled which it never was..It deleted my limewire and is messing my computer up…anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this problem or any spyware detector to download..i already tried adaware and some CA antivirus thing..neither of which worked.PS the rest of the message as my background says Your computer has several fatal errors due to spyware activities..and a few other things no more characters think I got i from a torrent

I am tired of my computers slowing significantly after only months and getting worse over time. How do I prevent or stop this. I do not have viruses/trojans/spyware, etc. (according to my two antivirus programs and one spyware detector - AVG, Trend Micro Antivirus, and Ad-Aware). Thanks!

i have a dual boot comp so this is how im posting. i recently put vista on my comp (bout 3 weeks ago) and over the last week the internet has been painfully slow (but fine on xp) and in google when i search, down the bottom where it says waiting for Http://www.google.com/search…………………………. and so on then an ip address, for some reason now it says waiting for Http://www.copy-book.com then waiting for google.com. the results look fine but when i click one result it open a new tab says about:blank then redirects to heaps of different sites including www.copy-book, click.smartbizsearch.com and many others, after googling on xp for a while it appears that its spyware, since then i downloaded heaps of different trusted spyware and virus killers. when using them they all Say 3 counts found: zlob dns changer and 2 trojan horses. spyware search and destroy or spy bot whatever its called was able to remove them all others couldn’t suddenly everything was back to normal but 2 days later it happened again and now nothing gets rid of them (the same viruses and spyware believe it or not) and i feel like a Calculator is more powerful than this thing right now can someone please help i am at the point of desperation here
One More Note: when right clicking the main google page on vista and xp and going view source the two supposedly same google pages are different in source when pressing ctrl+F and typing in copybook it comes up 4 times in vista none in xp.
One Other Note: yes i have tried deleting and blocking cookies and blocking copy book, oh and when i type copybooks url in the address bar it doesnt work, when i google anything close to how to fix spyware or "in google copy book always comes up" it just reverts to my last search or closes the browser, and even blocks updates to my scanners like avg free, i have tried everything i can think of. any help appreciated
