I am needing to buy a new anti-virus and my computer has said to have spyware or malware on it. Any suggestions please? I know about Norton, McAfee, and Micro PCcillan. Any other contrenders or are one of these the best ones? Thanks

Kaspersky or ESET(NOD32)

But the thing is there is no such thing as an AV that protects you from yourself, nothing can protect a computer from human stupidity, you have to work with it to keep your computer safe. Since it is your brother causing problems, I suggest you don’t let him use your computer unless he stops doing stupid things.
And if you let him use it make sure his account is a limited account so he can’t install and in many cases download things, also parental control software with a setting of not allowing downloads for him would be good( in vista it comes with the computer).
Isn’t that like closing the Barn door after the Horses are out?
Spyware - Windows Defender is best.
one live care from microsoft
Kaspersky, hands down.

iolo is the best. I’ve tried all kinds and I can guarantee iolo is the best and most dependable.
Cheers friend.
There are many good programs out there. Examples are Malwarebyte, Spyhunter (Although people say its not really good) and PCDoctor.
